Israeli Rocks Spy at Russian Fleet near Syria’s Tartous

Local Editor
Israeli spying deviceThree large Israeli espionage devices have been found hidden in artificial rocks on an uninhabited island opposite to the Syrian port of Tartous, where it was being used to monitor Russian naval movements, Sunday Times reported.

Israeli commandos launched a daring raid into Syrian territory to plant sophisticated camera equipment that looked exactly like the indigenous rocks.

“Israel’s elite Flotilla 13” sneaked onto the island on silent skiffs and extracted the stones to replicate for the spy camera. The frogmen returned to plant the decoys and set up the surveillance rig.
They were mounted in fake rocks designed to blend in with surrounding boulders.

According to Al-Manar TV, the “rocks” could track and film Russian warship movements and instantly transmit pictures back to Israel by satellite.

Syria’s state-run television showed a camera, a satellite dish and other objects including batteries and cables secreted among several imitation rocks.

The Israelis approached the island from one of the country’s German-built Dolphin class submarines, which are armed with nuclear cruise missiles.

The commandos had apparently visited the island earlier to obtain samples so the colour and shape of local rocks could be matched and the right position for the monitoring station established, the Sunday Times said.

It is not known how long the monitoring station operated before it was uncovered. A senior Syrian security official said the equipment was highly intricate and as well as tracking ships could also keep tabs on Syrian troop movements, according to the Australian news.

Israel’s "Prisoner X" provided info to Hezbollah: report

Published Sunday, March 24, 2013

Israel’s “Prisoner X,” the former Mossad agent who was found hanging in his jail cell shortly after his arrest in 2010, had provided Hezbollah with the identities of Lebanese informants, helping crack at least two major spy rings in the country, Germany’s Der Spiegel revealed on Sunday.

Citing an internal Israeli record, the report said that Ben Zygier, an Australian national recruited by the Israeli spy agency in 2003, was suspected of having passed on the names of Ziad al-Homsi and Mustafa Ali Awada prior to his secret arrest and detention in Israel.

Lebanese authorities arrested the two suspects in 2009 on charges of espionage and sentenced them each to 15 years in prison.

Homsi, a former mayor of a town in Lebanon’s eastern Bekaa valley, and prominent member of the March 14 coalition’s leading Future Movement, served only three years of his sentence and was released in May 2012.

Zygier’s identity had only become known to the public last month when it was revealed by an investigative Australian TV report. Israel had imposed a gag order on its media to prohibit them from reporting on the case.

Zygier had reportedly been kept in a cell built for the man who assassinated former Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin.

Israel has remained extremely secretive over the case, refusing to provide information over the reasons behind Zygier’s arrest.

Coordinating body in Jibla Alaadhmayah provided support for the Israeli enemy to plant a spy network on the Syrian coast

Official Source: Israeli Espionage System Detected on Syrian Coast Spied on Sensitive Target
Mar 07, 2013

DAMASCUS, (SANA)_An official source said that the Israeli spying system discovered last Friday on the Syrian coast was spying on a sensitive target for transmitting instant images to the Zionist entity via special cameras through satellites dishes.

The source said in a statement to journalists on Thursday that the system’s components were camouflaged so as to blend with the geographic nature of the area, indicating that the system included a camera, antennas, six batteries and an electrical regulator, in addition to cables connecting basic parts.

The source added that discovering this spying system at this time is an indication of Israel’s involvement in the current events in Syria, ”especially that the information transmitted benefit the Israeli enemy and the armed terrorist groups inside the country.”

Earlier, competent authorities had discovered Israeli spying devices at a certain point in the coastal region which were designed for tapping, imaging, recording and transmitting data.

Iran shows footage from captured drone as US intensifies sanctions

An image grab taken from decoded footage aired on Iran’s state TV shows a military air base in Kandahar, Afghanistan. (Photo: Press TV)
Published Thursday, February 7, 2013
Iran revealed for the first time video footage recorded by a US spy drone captured over the Islamic republic more than two years ago, as the country’s supreme leader Thursday rejected dialogue following new US sanctions targeting its oil industry.

Video posted to the website of Iran’s state news agency included decoded footage of the RQ-179 Sentinel stealth drone as it landed at the Kandahar air base in neighboring Afghanistan.
Video shows decoded footage from the US spy drone:

The footage was captured by a camera located on the underbelly of the unmanned aircraft, which was electronically hijacked by defense workers on 4 December 2011 as it flew over the Iranian city of Kashmar, about 150 miles west of the Afghan border.

The report added that information taken from the drone suggests it had conducted reconnaissance flights over several countries in the region, including Pakistan where the United States is in the midst of an undeclared drone war on suspected militants.

Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps aerospace force, Amir Ali Hajizadeh, had previously announced that all data taken from the drone had been “fully decoded.”

The United States originally denied Iran’s claims to have captured the drone, but later asked for it to be returned after Iranian TV aired images of the aircraft on display.

In a separate incident in December 2012 Iran said it had captured a US spy drone in its airspace over the Gulf, but US Navy said it had not lost any unmanned aircraft in the area.

Meanwhile on Thursday Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei said negotiations with the United States would remain off the table so long as it continues to impose sanctions on Iran.

“You (Americans) want to negotiate when you are pointing the gun at Iran. The Iranian nation will not be intimidated by such actions,” Khamenei told air force commanders, according to excerpts of his speech posted on his website.

“Some rejoice at the offer of negotiations … (but) negotiations will not solve anything,” he added.

The remarks come one day after the United States tightened sanctions on Iran to further choke off its oil income.

Khamenei’s statement was made just days US Vice President Joseph Biden said the United States was prepared to meet bilaterally with the Iranian leadership.

The two countries are at odds over Iran’s controversial nuclear program. The United States and Israel accuse Iran of seeking to develop nuclear weapons, but Iran insists its program is for peaceful purposes.

After 23 Years, “Heavyweight” Lebanese Spy Knocked Out

Published Wednesday, January 23, 2013

An antiques dealer and former member of Baalbeck’s municipal council has been pinned as one of Israel’s top spies in Lebanon. “Ali Y.” tracked the movements of a former Hezbollah chief and gave Israel its most detailed mappings of the Bekaa, but some say his most fiendish deeds have yet to be revealed.

Ali Y. is considered one of the most important Israeli spies to have been arrested in Lebanon in recent years. Investigators are in the process of interrogating the 67-year-old man before military investigating judge Imad al-Zein. At the close of yesterday’s session, they had only broached about eight of his 23 years as a paid spy for Israeli intelligence.

The information gleaned from that period alone is enough to place him in the category of “heavyweight collaborator.”

Sources familiar with the probe told Al-Akhbar that Ali’s relationship with Israeli intelligence began in 1990 when he was involved in the antiques trade while also working for the Ministry of Public Works’ Buildings Directorate in the district of Baalbeck .

On a trip to New York, he met an American Jewish antiques dealer and they struck up a business relationship. Shortly afterwards, Ali’s new partner suggested he travel to Cyprus to meet another dealer based there, promising lucrative deals. The two men met and the dealer soon revealed his true identity as an Israeli intelligence officer, and, aware of Ali’s ministry position, offered to pay him for information. Ali accepted without hesitation.

Interrogators have concluded that Ali was motivated to become a spy purely by greed. After an initial period of training – during which he was taught communications and encryption skills – he took to meeting his handlers once every six months. He was paid between $10,000 and $15,000 each time, making his total earnings from collaboration around $600,000.

The meetings with handlers took place in Greece, Italy, Cyprus, and Thailand. On one occasion, Ali travelled to Occupied Palestine using a forged passport provided by the Israelis. On several occasions he met them in Tel Aviv or Haifa, always staying in comped luxury apartments.

Among the most intriguing revelations to emerge from the questioning is that Ali was tasked with the surveillance of Abbas Mousawi, the former Hezbollah secretary general who was assassinated by an Israeli missile strike on his vehicle in 1992, two years after Ali became an agent.

He provided his handlers with details of Mousawi’s movements, including where his car would be parked and what position it usually took in the convoy. It is not yet clear, however, to what extent Ali was involved in the actual assassination.

He was also ordered to track Subhi al-Tufaili, Sheikh Mohammad Yazbek, and other leading Hezbollah figures in the Bekaa area, and to a lesser extent local leaders of the Amal movement.

Ali also monitored Syrian intelligence centers in the Bekaa, and later provided information about the Resistance’s wireless communications network – which is thought to have been of direct use to Israel in its 2006 war on Lebanon.

Ali’s work was presided over by a succession of Israeli intelligence officers. At each meeting they would review the information he had gathered and instruct him on his next task. Ali reportedly said that his bosses frequently gave him lie-detector tests, with Israeli psychiatrists present, but he always passed.

Ali’s job at the regional buildings directorate gave him access to information the Israelis clearly found valuable. “He did a complete survey of the Bekaa for them. He dissected it for them like nobody had done before,” one source remarked. “They used to provide him with aerial photographs so he could identify targets on the ground. He had many meetings with Israeli aerial photography specialists in Tel Aviv.”
The Israelis appear to have paid Ali considerably more than most of their Lebanese agents, and even threw a special party for him, expressing their gratitude.

Ali is described as being relatively well-educated, remaining cool and collected under questioning. At 67, he suffers from health problems, and retired from his ministry job three years ago.

He was brought into judicial custody by Lebanese Military Intelligence after it conducted its own interrogation of him, obtaining confessions with the help of information supplied by the Resistance’s intelligence apparatus.

Informed sources said Ali has also revealed secrets of a highly sensitive nature which are being kept strictly under wraps at present.

An indictment is expected soon. The arrest warrant issued for him by Judge Zein cites several articles of the penal code, which potentially carry the death penalty.

Lebanon Arrests ‘Highest Spy Paid of Israel’

Local Editor

22-01-2013

LEbanon: Ali Yaghi, another Zionist spy arrested; Jan. 21, 2013 Military Judicial Council of Lebanon has arrested the spy Ali Tawfiq Yaghi on charges of collaborating with the Zionist enemy, security forces revealed to Al-Manar TV.

Dubbed as the highest spy paid to date, Yaghi was said to have received $600,000 for his loyalty to the Jewish state.

The Lebanese agent, a former member of the Baalbek City Council and former employee of Lebanese Public Works Ministry, began working for the Mossad in 1990, and had undergone intelligence training on how to use invisible ink, encrypted radio devices and other modern means of communication.

He also visited the occupied territories more than once including Tel Aviv, using a fake Palestinian passport. He also travelled to Asian and European states to meet his Zionist operators there.
Yaghi has confessed to his crime stating that he passed to the Zionist entity intelligence on the Lebanese Army and Resistance bunkers, as well as names of Hezbollah and Amal officials and members, along with information on Hezbollah communication network.

The significant role Yaghi carried out during July 2006 war on Lebanon prompted the Zionist Mossad to hold a ceremony in his honor.

The spy was using the cover of being a City Council member to conceal his espionage. He was also used to complain all the time of his poor living conditions.

Lebanese Army intelligence has investigated with Yaghi and the military investigating judge, Imad Zein, has issued a warrant against him based on articles which carry the death penalty.

The Zionist spying device detected by Hezbollah; July 2, 2012Hezbollah announced Monday it detected a Zionist spying device planted by the enemy on the wired telecommunications network of the resistance in the Zrariyeh region, south of Lebanon.

“The detection came within the framework of the ongoing anti-spyware detection,” Hezbollah said in a statement issued Monday.

“Subsequently, the enemy detonated the device remotely, where no one was hurt due to the high level of alert and caution of the resistance technicians,” Hezbollah added in the statement.

“The technical espionage attempt practiced by the enemy, and foiled by the resistance, comes in the context of persistent Israeli attacks on the telecommunications system, which constitutes a violation of the Lebanese sovereignty and an attempt to seize the security and safety of the Lebanese people,” the statement read.

The Islamic resistance however, stressed it “will continue to face the enemy plans and attacks on the security and integrity of Lebanon and its resistance.”

Al-Manar correspondent in the scene, Ali Sheib, reported that the spying device constitutes of a storage device of more than twenty boxes that contain batteries to feed it. The storage device is linked to the transmission equipment via a 80-meter cable directed towards the bordering Zionist military posts.

The device was installed over a high hill facing some bordering Zionist posts.

The explosion area was appointed between the Lebanese villages of Hallousiyeh, Zrariyeh and Bidyas in the South.

Sheib noted that a UNIFIL checkpoint distances not more than 1 kilometer from the detonation area.
The Lebanese army immediately dispatched to the area and started investigation.

NSA’s Jewish Spy Masters

After the World Wars, a group of Intelligence services formed an agreement to fight communism and share intelligence and to help security. As part of this agreement a global communication monitoring system was established. Using all the members they could monitor all communications on the planet. This was gradually expanded and eventually became the Echelon system. With its main centres being:

8200 Herzliya Israel
GCHQ Cheltenham/Bude UK
NSA Maryland USA

The Special Relationship

But who runs Echelon? Echelon is run by a joint alliance of countries Canada, America, New Zealand, Australia, Israel & Britian. AKA CAZAIB.

Iran Builds Prototypes of U.S. RQ170 despite US Doubts

Local Editor

Iranian Aerospace Force commander Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh.jpgIran has started to copy the captured U.S. spy drone RQ 170, the commander of the Aerospace Force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced on Saturday, Iranian Mehr news agency reported.

Brigadier General Amir Ali Hajizadeh who was speaking on the anniversary of the establishment of the IRGC also said experts are receiving information from the captured spy plane, and revealed what he said were “codes” gleaned from the unmanned aircraft.

“I am giving you four codes so the Americans understand just how far we have gone in penetrating the drone’s secrets,” he told state television.

“In October 2010, the aircraft was sent to California for some technical issues, where it was repaired and after flight tests, it was taken to Kandahar (in Afghanistan) in November 2010, when a series of technical problems still prevailed,” he said.

“In December 2010, it was sent to an airport near Los Angeles for repair of its equipment and sensors, and flight tests. The drone was then sent back to Kandahar,” he said.

Hajizadeh did not give further details, saying: “This aircraft is a national treasure for us, and I cannot divulge information about it.”

But he added Iran has “started producing a copy of the RQ-170 drone,” stressing it used the same US technology in stealth fighters and bombers.

US Senator Joe LibermanFor his part, the US Senator Joe Lieberman said that Tehran’s declaration about copying the US spy drone amounts to little more than “Iranian bluster.”

“There is some history here of Iranian bluster particularly now when they’re on the defensive because of our economic sanctions against them,” said the independent lawmaker, chairman of the Democrat-led Senate’s Homeland Security Committee said.

Lieberman made his remarks to the “Fox News Sunday” program after General Hajizadeh’s speech on state TV, saying that he felt “skepticism” at the claim, the first reaction from a senior US politician.

However, Tehran’s technological and military capabilities prove the opposite, and the coming days will reveal the truth.

The unmanned, bat-winged RQ-170 Sentinel drone went down in Iran four months ago, and Iran’s gleeful military proudly displayed it on state television apparently intact, though with what appeared to be damage to one of
its wings.
