Israel’s war on Christianity

Israel’s new Herods and Palestine’s Christians

By Jamal Kanj
I’m writing from Finland this week, where the omnipresence of snowflakes and festive Christmas lights heralds another year celebrating the birth of Jesus.

Jerusalem monastery defaced by JewsIn parallel, the descendants of the Messiah in Palestine are marking another year of abominable Israeli occupation.

Indulged with indifference towards the collective sorrow cloaking the hearts of native Christians in the Holy Land, the West turns another leaf, rejoicing the birth of the prince of peace.

However, in present-day Palestine, Jesus is no longer a prince and peace remains a phantom.
If Joseph and his pregnant wife Mary were to venture on their historic journey to Bethlehem today, they would have to navigate roads reserved for foreign settlers, overcome military checkpoints and scale high walls to get there.

If Joseph and his pregnant wife Mary were to venture on their historic journey to Bethlehem today, they would have to navigate roads reserved for foreign settlers, overcome military checkpoints and scale high walls to get there.

More than 2,000 years ago they fled Herod the Great, “King of the Jews”, to save their baby.
Nowadays, Palestinian Christians are fleeing descendants of the King of Khazar – an aspiring flat copy of Herod – who has Polish pedigree and was christened Benjamin Mileikowsky.
He later became known as Binyamin Netanyahu, the current Israeli prime minister whose main political ally is the Moldovan Evet Lvovich Liberman – Avigdor Lieberman.

According to Israeli human rights groups, the year 2012 has witnessed a portentous increase in religious hate crimes directed towards historical Christian monasteries, churches and graveyards.
The most recent was a week ago, when suspected Jewish extremists (Price Tag) associated with Israel’s settlement movement defiled the Greek Orthodox monastery in Jerusalem with graffiti.
In July, elected Israeli member of parliament Michael Ben Ari desecrated the Christian Bible on camera, calling it a “despicable book” belonging “in history’s trash can” and blaming it for “the murder of millions of Jews” in Europe.

Earlier in the year, the CBS News show “60 Minutes” aired a compelling programme on Palestinian Christians in the holy land. Before the broadcast, the Israeli ambassador to the US, Michael Oren, contacted the head of CBS News in an attempt to quash the report.
In an uncommon gesture, CBS afforded the ambassador a unique opportunity to rebut the story before it was aired.

Veteran reporter Bob Simon told the diplomat in an interview before the broadcast: “I’ve never gotten a reaction before from a story that hasn’t been broadcast yet.”

Oren pompously responded: “There’s a first time for everything.”

If your country is so good to Christians, why don’t you allow me, my family and thousands of Palestinian Christians to return to our home? (Palestinian Christian activist, Philip Farah, challenging Israel’s ambassador to the US, Michel Oren)

The ambassador pre-empted the show in an op-ed piece in the Wall Street Journal, but instead of addressing Israel’s mistreatment of Christians, Oren blamed Muslims for oppressing and massacring “Christian communities throughout the Middle East”, claiming that Christianity was “thriving” in Israel.

Responding to Oren’s assertions, 80 native Christian leaders denounced his bid to blame Christians’ hardship on Muslims as “shameful manipulation of the facts intended to mask the damage that Israel has done to our community”.

As for the “thriving” Christian community in Israel, they explained that the growth was attributable to a large number of “Russian Christians whom Israel was unable to distinguish from Jewish immigrants pouring into the country after the fall of the Soviet Union”.

A native Christian activist, Philip Farah, challenged Ambassador Oren: “If your country is so good to Christians, why don’t you allow me, my family and thousands of Palestinian Christians to return to our home?”

In 1948, Israel indiscriminately razed more than 500 Palestinian villages, including predominantly Christian towns such as Iqrit and Kufr Bir’m, to name just two.

Likewise, these days Israeli settlements and the separation wall are encroaching and confiscating land belonging to Palestinians of all persuasions.

This Christmas, new Israeli Herods abetted by Western powers are driving Christians from their land and transforming native churches into Israeli tourist attractions and grand “archaeological sites” like the Pyramids, detached from their indigenous traditions.

Israel invokes Europe’s Holocaust guilt

Posted on December 12, 2012

On Tuesday, Israeli foreign minister Avigdor Lieberman, in an effort to invoke western anti-Jewish guilt, criticized the Western nations for not joining Israel-US-Canada- Czech Republic against Palestinian Authority’s (PA) victory at UN General Assembly last month. Lieberman compared European nations’ action with their antisemitic attitude during late 1930s when they did not save German Jews from Nazis.
“Once again, Europe has ignored calls for Israel’s destruction. We have already seen this at the end of 1930s and the begining of 1940s when Europe knew what was happening in the concentration camps and didn’t act. Europe has slapped itself in the face,” Lieberman told Israel public radio.

Naturally, no one expected Lieberman to admit that it were Jewish groups in the United States and England which had declared war on German people by boycotting all trade with Germany even before Hitler assumed power. Now, the Jewish groups are applying similar dirty tricks against Palestinian and Iranian people. The German government’s response to the Jewish imposed ’crippling sanction’, was the best thing to happen to the World Zionist Movement in its history, as it proved to many Jews that European were born Jew-haters and that immigration to Palestine was the only answer: Zionism came to represnt the overwhelming majority of Jews solely by trickery and cooperation with Nazis by Zionist leaders.

Earlier this month, former Zionist foreign minister and daughter of a European Jewish terrorist, Tzipi Livni, had called PA victory as a ‘strategic terrorist attack‘.

As expected, Jewish media mistranslated Khaled Meshaal speech in Gaza and inserted notorious statement “wipe Israel off map”, wrongly attributed to Iran’s president Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in 2005. In fact, what Ahmadinejad said in Persian was “a Middle East without Zionism”.

It’s time for sanctions on Israel

The merger of the rightwing parties will increase extremism and racism against Palestinians. Sanctions are the only answer

http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/nov/04/europe-impose-sanctions-israel-palestinians

Ahead of the Israeli elections next January, a merger between the parties of the prime minister, Binyamin Netanyahu, and the foreign minister, Avigdor Lieberman, has been announced. They are to contest the elections on a joint list, intending to become the largest bloc in the Knesset.

The move is seen as an achievement for both men. Netanyahu was shaken by the recent decline in the popularity of his Likud party at the rate of one seat per week. More specifically, his apprehension revolved around the possible return of Ehud Olmert, the former Israeli prime minister, as leader of an opposition alliance consisting of Tzipi Livni, the former foreign minister; Shaul Mofaz, leader of Kadima; and Yair Labed, a rising political star.

Netanyahu’s avowed objective is to assemble a major political force that would guarantee his re-election and ensure his dominance of the Israeli right. Lieberman is the main beneficiary of this alliance: it guarantees power for his party, Yisrael Beiteinu, and under the agreement, Lieberman can choose to run whatever ministry he desires, including the important ministry of defence. He will gain political legitimacy and be transformed from a mere participant in a coalition government to a key player. If in recent years the government has been a construct of Netanyahu and Ehud Barak, the defence minister, the next government will be a Netanyahu-Lieberman one. Lieberman can also contest Likud’s leadership after Netanyahu.

The alliance reflects a lunge to the right, at a time of greater extremism in Israeli politics. Previously, Lieberman was very much on the margins. When he became minister of transport, a minister in the Labour party resigned, refusing to sit at the same table with him.

After that, Lieberman became the foreign minister. Many thought this would provoke the ire of the international community. But he was warmly received in European capitals. If one had said 10 years ago that Lieberman would become foreign minister, one would have been accused of ignorance, if not of hostility and incitement against Israel.

Among the obvious outcomes of this new coalition is the fact that Likud has become more extremist, and Lieberman more influential and more dangerous. A few months ago Lieberman called for the toppling of President Mahmoud Abbas, despite the fact that the Palestinian leader has maintained the peace in the shadow of the occupation, and continues to pursue negotiations – even in the absence of an Israeli partner. Lieberman also called for economic, political and security sanctions on the Palestinian Authority after it began diplomatic moves to gain UN recognition for a Palestinian state.
Lieberman has espoused policies hostile to Arab citizens of Israel, who constitute 17% of the population. The slogan of his party is “No citizenship without loyalty”; he seeks to oblige Arabs citizens to declare loyalty to the Zionist state as a condition for citizenship, including the right to vote and become members of the Knesset. As the danger of racism depends not only on its callousness but on its power and influence, this coalition at the heart of government suggests a sharp rise in levels of racism and a dramatic decline in democracy.

Central to Lieberman’s politics is official recognition for the annexation of Jerusalem and the illegal Jewish settlements, in exchange for the transfer of major Arab population centres in Israel to Palestine. Altogether, Lieberman’s aim is to make the citizenship of Palestinian Arabs conditional and temporary. Ultimately, this could result in a pure Jewish state, free of Arab citizens.

When Jörg Haider and his extreme right party entered the Austrian government, several European countries imposed sanctions. Lieberman is far more dangerous than Haider. His stature is proof that extremism has come to dominate in Israel. Should the kind of politics that are rejected in Europe be accommodated in the Holy Land?

The last government and Knesset, whose term has just ended, was the most extremist so far; in the upcoming elections the situation is likely to change for the worse. So what should we do? I believe trying to persuade Netanyahu and his government to adopt more moderate policies is a waste of time and effort. The only way to ensure change is through pressure and sanctions on the Israeli government. Netanyahu’s political conduct shows that he bows only when confronted. Whoever wants a just peace and to prevent looming wars, whoever wants to put an end to the crimes committed by occupation, whoever wants to combat racism, must help in imposing sanctions.

Lieberman: Israel Won’t Accept Camp David Changes

Local Editor

Zionist Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said on Sunday that Tel Aviv would not accept alterations to its 1979 peace treaty with Egypt.

“There is not the slightest possibility that Israel will accept the modification of the peace treaty with Israel,” Lieberman told Israeli public radio.

“We will not accept any modification of the Camp David accords.”

The comments come as tensions rise between Egypt and the Zionist entity with speculation the government of President Mohamad Mursi could seek to alter parts of the decades-old treaty.
Ties are also strained over the issue of security in Egypt’s Sinai, which borders the occupied territories and has increasingly become a haven for militants, some of whom have used the territory as a launching ground for attacking the Zionist entity.

On Friday, an Israeli occupation soldier and three militants who infiltrated from Sinai were killed in a clash along the border, after troops opened fire on the gunmen as they crossed the frontier.

Tel Aviv has urged Cairo to tackle the growing lawlessness in Sinai, and Egypt has responded by boosting its military presence in the peninsula.

“Egypt must fulfill its obligations in Sinai,” Lieberman said on Sunday.
Egypt launched an unprecedented military operation in the peninsula after militants killed 16 Egyptian border police in northern Sinai on August 5.
The Zionist entity has warned that it expects Cairo to withdraw the military reinforcements once the operation was over.

The Prince And The Pauper / From Washington DC To ‘Akkar With Love

No wonder that the war on Syria has extended to Lebanon because what is targeted through Syria is nothing but Lebanon.
This is where all schemes shall meet and culminate: the land of the Resistance, of the victorious Resistance, this is where all conspiracies shall meet and overlap.
The 2006 attack on Lebanon has resumed, but this time Israel will be spared the military venture that was so unsuccessful. Air fighters, carriers and drones and thousands of missiles and tanks, will not launch the war.
This time Israel will save itself the trouble of fighting and losing another war, a loss that is no more affordable.
The new weapons found by extensive US and Israeli researches, to resume the war, are different this time. They range from the Special Tribunal of the International Court to the Qatari army recruited by Qatari and Gulf mid men in Palestinian camps and in the poor neighbourhoods of Tripoli and supplied with sophisticated weapons and equipment.

The Qatari army of Lebanon is working hand in hand with the FSA(Free Syria Army). The sophisticated weapons have been introduced to the poorest parts of the northern city into the quarters that are the poorest in Lebanon, and maybe the poorest in the whole area where people can hardly find anything to provide their families with.
Imamu ‘Ali used to say if poverty were a man, I would have killed that man.
Poverty kills and today was another bloody day in Tripoli where the poor quarter of Sunnis launched missiles on the poor quarters of Alawites, ten people were killed. The snipers of the poor quarters of Sunnis are shooting at the people of the poor quarter of Alawites and the FSA is partaking in the shooting and the Lebanese security forces are watching silently.

This is what Feltman came to do with congressman Lieberman, to set the stage for all this sectarian events, Lieberman even visited personally the north of Lebanon accompanied by CIA agents, he roamed the most desolate part of Lebanon, where there is hardly anything.

He came all the way from Washington DC, from the House of Congress and the White House to the poor region of ‘Akkar that is given as an example of deprivation in Lebanon and in Syria. All the way from DC to desolate old ‘Akkar’, and he visited houses and families studying how to get all those people involved in the war against Syria and in a possible civil war in Lebanon that will take a sectarian aspect for which many foreign and Israeli mouths are watering, hoping that the Lebanese Resistance will be drawn into it, or – at least – will be cornered and threatened.

The world order is hoping by this to finish the Resistance at the hands of poor people who will be turned by way of money into enemies of their country and their people and if this does not work, Uncle Sam will not be short of ideas, there are many alternatives in store in case Assad remains in power, many choices are still there and the sectarian war is only one of them.

There is the infiltration of the Lebanese society by NGOs – already wide spread – in order to cripple the youth and drain their energy and affiliate them to foreign agendas by promoting attractive themes that will draw them away from the main national concern to the remote inaccessible abodes of fake liberty and freedom and fake social justice and fake peace. At one point all these schemes will work together, the goal is to let the people kill each other and attempt at their victorious Resistance instead of confronting their true enemy and gaining victory. Billions are being poured for this purpose: Saudi money, Qatari money that in no time will turn a poor Lebanese or Palestinian or a poor Arab into a sworn enemy of his own self.

Obama Walking a Fine Line in Syria

    Ali Rizk

With the US presidential elections fast approaching, significant developments have taken place with respect to Washington’s approach towards the ongoing unrest in Syria.

“Israel’s” Supporters Feltman, Lieberman in Lebanon to Topple Syria
The Washington Post published an article quoting US administration officials saying that the administration has decided to coordinate the sending of arms to the Syrian armed groups. While high ranking US officials denied Washington’s involvement in sending any “lethal assistance” to the Syrian opposition, sources in Washington say that there is indeed a change in the Obama administrations’ policy towards Syria which had previously rejected the assistance of the Syrian opposition, with administration officials citing the presence of al-Qaeda amongst this opposition.

These sources say that Washington is now pursuing a policy of providing non-lethal, but also NON HUMANITARIAN AID to the armed elements. According to the sources, it is the voices of hawkish right wing pro “Israelis” like Senator John Mccain and Senator Joseph Lieberman which had an effect in forcing a change in the Obama administration’s approach from complete reluctance to assisting the Syrian opposition to an apparently more flexible stance. It is important here to take a look at an opinion piece written by Lieberman in which he argues strongly for more US involvement to topple Assad including US airstrikes. Lieberman also says the following about more US involvement in the Syrian file:

“Some reports suggest such an effort is at least beginning to ramp up. If so, this would be a welcome development, and it deserves strong support from Congress”.

Lieberman recently visited the Middle East, making stops in three countries: Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Lebanon. The first two countries (Saudi Arabia and Qatar) have been the strongest supporters of arming the Syrian opposition. Western diplomats have said this bluntly and the very same Washington Post article which speaks of US coordination in sending arms also states that this coordination is being done with Saudi Arabia and Qatar and that both these Persian Gulf countries have decided to pay millions of dollars in funding each month to the Syrian armed groups.

The third country (which is Lebanon) is right on the border with Syria. During his two day stop in Lebanon Lieberman actually paid a visit to this area. Here note another quote from Lieberman’s op ed:

“establish safe zones along Syria’s borders so the opposition can organize inside their country”.

If we take a look at the sequence of events, following Lieberman’s visit a ship carrying arms was intercepted in Lebanon’s northern Lebanese city of Tripoli. Next came the all-out chaos which erupted in that city (and is not totally under control yet) and the emergence of large numbers of armed Salafists known for their hostility towards Bashar Assad, amid reports of the presence of members of the so called “Free Syrian Army” also in the North and in the city of Tripoli.
    jaafari UN
    ‘Some Lebanese
    Incubating Terrorist Elements against Syria’
In a letter to UN chief Ban Ki- Moon , Syria’s envoy to the UN Bashar Jaafari spoke of the stockpiling of arms on Lebanon’s borders with Syria, together with the presence of terrorists in Lebanon who are trying to disrupt the six point plan of Kofi Annan, and even of the presence of the head of the “Free Syrian Army” Riad Al-Assad” in Lebanon.

Putting the facts together it is isn’t too difficult to see a high level of coordination between “Israel” and its friends in Washington and specifically on Capitol Hill on one hand and some Arab Persian Gulf states on the other.(Of course it goes without saying now that “Israel” supports Assad’s demise .This was made clear by the head of “Israeli” military intelligence Aviv Kochavi who recently made a secret visit to Washington and bluntly stated that the fall of Assad is something which serves “Israel”. Ehud Barak also expressed his frustration that the Assad regime has yet to collapse). To put it bluntly here, there is bigger coordination and convergence in approaches between “Israel” and some Gulf states this time even than there is between “Israel” and Washington.

“Israel” , via its friends in congress, together with Saudi Arabia and Qatar are attempting to lobby the American administration into a more confrontational approach with Damascus.

This lobbying is coming in election season, which could explain why it may have made some inroads thus far. And as the race to the white house nears and intensifies, Obama may also give in more to those voices calling for a more confrontational approach.

But then again he may not. Although he will face pressure from “Israel” and its allies in congress, Obama has rarely missed an opportunity to speak to the American people of what is probably his biggest achievement since he became president:

” the killing of Osama Bin Laden”.

This achievement, together with Obama’s withdraw from the unpopular war on Iraq give Obama strong credentials when it comes to foreign policy according to prominent experts in Washington. These experts, who are familiar with what goes on in policy circles in the White House say that it is foreign policy which is Obama’s main strength and that Obama wants to keep it that way. They add that any deeper involvement on Washington’s part in Syria could destabilize the region and tarnish his foreign policy record. The war on Afghanistan and on al-Qaeda is “Obama’s war” and as he continues to wage this war in Afghanistan and also in countries like Yemen it does indeed appear irrational if he were to seriously get involved in assisting al-Qaeda in Syria (high ranking American officials like US secretary of state Clinton and secretary of war Panetta have actually implied at this irrationality and Ban Ki-Moon is the latest in a stream of officials who have confirmed Al-Qaeda’s STRONG PRESENCE in Syria).

So what remains to be seen is who will prevail: the rational or the irrational voices?

From now until the US elections, Obama will probably walk a fine line between both, hence the ambiguous terms of “coordinating but not supplying arms” and providing “non lethal but also non humanitarian aid” But what seems to be clear is that the rational voice is that which takes into consideration US interests and the irrational is that which is being heard from US allies, be they “Israel” or others.

Joseph Lieberman Says US To Topple Syrian Regime

    Local Editor

    US Delegation Tours North Lebanon,
    Monitors Borders with Syria
In an article the Washington Post published on Friday, the US Senator Joseph Liebrman wrote that the [Syrian President Bashar] al-Assad regime should be toppled by any means possible, be it foreign intervention or even “airstrikes”.

Lieberman said after meeting with leaders of the opposition Syrian National Council and Free Syrian Army and leaders of key countries in the region that “A more [US] comprehensive and coordinated effort [on Syria] is needed, together with the US regional partners, to support the anti al-Assad fighters with weapons, tactical intelligence and other lethal aid.”

He further noted that “A US-coordinated train-and-equip mission would provide the leverage to better unify and broaden the opposition, incorporate all of the key stakeholders in Syrian society, and influence their conduct.”
Additionally, describing Bashar al-Assad as a “dictator” and a “devil”, the official reiterates the US and its allies should dislodge him by any means possible.

He pointed out that the US should “dramatically step up efforts to support the Syrian opposition, explaining the aim to is to reach a point where it becomes clear Assad cannot win on the battlefield and must seek a negotiated exit.

A Sunni Emirate in the North

“The United States should begin discussions with our partners about a campaign of airstrikes to disrupt al-Assad’s command over his forces and to establish safe zones along Syria’s borders so the opposition can organize inside their country,” he concludes.

Lieberman’s visit was on the 2nd of May, and was defended as a “visit to the Lebanese-Syrian borders solely made in order to meet with the Syrian refugees and examine their humanitarian situation,”

Future bloc MP Khaled Daher had described it in remarks to As-Seyassah newspaper.

US to Tighten ’’March 14’’ Joints, Stress Arming Syrian Opposition

    Zeinab Essa

    Details...
    Uncle Sam here, why?
Four Years had the former US ambassador to Lebanon Jeffery Feltman spend in Lebanon, and the only success he scored is the establishment of a “house of ghosts”.

To him, the mission was accomplished: a house of US allies aimed to weaken the resistance axis from within the internal Lebanese arena.

Three years later, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Feltman had to quickly pack his stuff and return back to Beirut that devastated all the pro-”Israeli” man’s plans.

Syria is on the way to overcome its crisis.

The Official Lebanon distanced itself from the crisis.

The Lutfallah II caper……..Another Watergate unfolding?
The continuous smuggling of weapons into Syria has recently been hit by a major blow resembled by the Lebanese army’s success in intercepting the arms ship “Lutfullah II”.

Moreover, the Iranian giant is present in Lebanon with a hand of cooperation to lift the small country on the economic and the financial level.

All this, and the 2013 parliamentary Lebanese elections knocks the Lebanese door amid an opposition that struggles to revive and a majority that proved to be invincible.

In an attempt to unveil some of the hidden aspects of the surprising US visit to Lebanon, moqawama.org interviewed former Lebanese information minister Michel Smeha.

US to Attack Syria from Lebanon

    Michel Samaha:
Provocative Media Responsible for Killing and Sabotage Acts in Syria
According to Smeha, “based on the US strategy in the Middle East to confront the resistance and its allies, the US diplomat came to interfere and to issue his instructions after evaluating the internal Lebanese situation.”

“It is clear the Feltman’s visit to Lebanon aimed at organizing the home he had constructed during his presence as a US ambassador to Lebanon,” he stressed.
Smeha further clarified that “Feltman’s meetings came in the first place to tighten the joints of his weak team that resembles the Lebanese spearhead against the Syrian regime.”

“The US blatant interference crossed all norms,” the minister confirmed, highlighting that “Feltman was accompanied by the US Senator Joseph Lieberman who came to organize and supervise the smuggling of weapons from Syria to Lebanon under the humanitarian cover.”

Turkey’s Davutoğlu gives Arab Spring lecture in US
“Before heading to Lebanon, Lieberman visited with the US Senator John McCain Turkey where he met the sponsors of terrorism against Syria,” Smeha unveiled.

He also recalled that the two men- who urged their government to militarily interfere in Syria- form with US Vice President Joseph Biden the fathers of the Iraq’s division law.

“They both work with the forces of division in our region to reach a sectarian strife,” Smeha emphasized, noting that “after his visit to Turkey and particularly the Turkish borders with Syria, Lieberman headed to Saudi Arabia where he met the officials there.”

The former minister moved on to mention that “from the Gulf Kingdom, Lieberman came to Lebanon with a list of accusations to the Lebanese government of supporting the “illegal” Syrian regime and banning the aid to Syrian armed opposition and refugees.”

“The US delegation aimed to complicate the internal situation at this moment by escalating the tone against Syria as well as condensing the possibility of arming terrorism in Syria,” Smeha explained, unveiling that ” the arms ship was part of the titles present in the US discussions.”

    Feltman Met “Israeli” Officials

فيلتمان وجنبلاط Based on the rule that the letter’s title reveals its content, Smeha uncovered to our website that “along his way to Beirut, the US diplomat met in Frankfort with top “Israeli” officers to discuss the Syrian and Lebanese developments.”
“He also met with British officials in the United Kingdom for the same reason,” he said.

To the well-informed politician, “all the announced visits and undeclared meetings especially with the Lebanese figures are to be set within the frame of finding a way to apply the plan Feltman had set in December 2011.”
“On that visit to Lebanon, Feltman sought to arm a Lebanese party in face of the resistance weapons and particularly Hizbullah,” Smeha stressed.
In this context, he stated that “Feltman aimed to set the following equation: the Weapons of the North vs. the Resistance Weapons in the South.”

Feltman’s visit came to renew his orders that the first US goal is to isolate the resistance and its allies by attacking the weapons.”

“From that moment, the resistance arms was set in the forefront and according to Feltman’s agenda it will be at the head of the slogans of the scheduled Festival of the “Future movement on the 7th of May.”

    US Launched March 14 Campaign

On the internal level, Smeha said that “the US aimed to launch “March 14″ parliamentary elections under the slogan “Your Win is A US Need.”"

On this level, Smeha told moqawama.org that “supporting the Syrian opposition, economically seizing Damascus and targeting the resistance weapons are the three titles Feltman had set for “March 14″ campaign.”

“Lieberman came from the KSA with an invitation to [the head of the National Struggle Front] MP Walid Jumblatt to meet the king under the condition he is to break ties with Hizbullah,” Smeha revealed.

He also recalled the undeclared meetings and negotiations ahead of the 2005 parliamentary elections warning that “this US interest with the criminal Samir Geagea is to be manifested by leading him to the Lebanese Presidency if “March 14″ wins the electoral poll.”

US Afraid of Iranian Giant in Lebanon

In parallel, Smeha shed light on the synchronization of the US visit with the visit of the Iranian vice President to Lebanon.
“Of course, the US wanted to break through the Iranian barrier in Lebanon,” he confirmed, pointing out that “Washington wanted to inform the Lebanese government that there are limits to its relations with Iran especially on the economic level.”

A new road map, a new agenda or a new list of orders: These are different names with one goal “Protecting the Sacred “Israel”.” “After dividing Iraq, US eyes are on striking Syria, dividing Lebanon and settling the Palestinian refugees,” Smeha viewed, assuring that “the US plans will again prove to be mirage in face of the resistance will.”
