Today is the 37th commemoration of earth day that started in year 1976 and has been celebrated every year since. Originally the uprising started after the Israeli government – headed then by Rabin with Peres as a minister of defense- decided to confiscate 21000 hectares of Arab Land from Galilee to build Jewish settlements on them.

… The Protests started in Historic Palestine and spread to the West Bank , Jerusalem , Gaza where people rallied in support of each other . Also joined Palestinians from refugee camps in Arab countries, and Palestinians scattered everywhere in the world .The Israeli army imposed carefew and attacked the people destroying the shops and the homes. Six Palestinians fell martyrs during this uprising . Thus, the Palestinian Earth Day is commemorated each year on the 30th of March .
This year, this unity and this standing together will be missed among Palestinians and what we witness nowadays is something totally different . Gaza , the PA and the other multiple organizations and the refugees in Arab countries and those exiled in foreign countries have lost their capacity to come together and Israel succeeded in keeping them apart and has been working on this issue of setting them against each other .

According to Palestinian writer Tayseer al Khatib – who was interviewed on Nour radio station for the occasion – Palestinians need to go over their history and evaluate what has happened to them and what has happened to the cause and give an assessment of the whole situation in order to be able to proceed further . This assessment should cover the whole situation up to the present moment . If this assessment is not done and if the causes of the failure of the Cause are not defined and diagnosed it will be impossible to get anywhere . .Because of this, Tayseer al Khatib invited the leadership – mainly the Palestinian Authority – to speak openly to people , to Palestinians , about what has been done and why have we failed and where and what to do in order to go around these failures .
It is up to Palestinians – said Tayseer al Khatib – to decide what is the next step to get out of this dead end . Other wise the whole Palestinian endeavor will remain divided and the Popular Resistance that is being carried on by Palestinians in the West Bank will remain confined to certain areas and localities and will not be able to spread .

One short look at the policy of annexation carried on by the Zionists on this Earth Day is enough in order to see the extend of the damage . Israel will resume building settlements and 300 units are expected to be built South of Jerusalem , while 900 units are expected to be built in West Jerusalem, not to speak of the !500 units decided for the West Bank in the area called E1. Israel has already destroyed 60 houses owned by Arabs in Jerusalem, and 20000 other houses are expected to be leveled down which will leave 60000 Palestinians homeless .

Israelis have already withdrawn 10 thousands Jerusalem identities from people and one hundred thousands Palestinians living in Jerusalem had been isolated from the Holy City. And while Arabs are busy arranging and rallying for the so called Syrian Revolution and conspiring against Assad ,and while Palestinians are coordinating with Israeli affiliated NGOs and carrying on dubious functions unrelated to them and to their cause, and while HAMAS has fallen in the sectarian pit arranged for her by Israel and while the Palestinian Authority has reached an unimaginable level of corruption, Zionists continue successfully -undisturbed -their mission of confiscating the land and dispossessing the .people

Instagram Scandal Highlights Racism Among Israeli Youth

An image of a Palestinian child in the crosshairs of a gun posted on an Israeli soldier’s Instagram account went viral in February after being published by the Electronic Intifada, the US-based blog on Palestinian issues, attracting widespread negative attention in international media. Israeli authorities were quick to assure that this was not a typical case and that the photo did not accurately portray the Israeli military. A few days later, more disturbing pictures of soldiers, including Rambo-like posing and hailing the killing of Arabs, went viral.

According to Rebecca Stein, a professor at Duke University, the use of social media by the soldier on the ground to capture his or her everyday life is nothing new. In a phone interview with Al-Monitor, Stein explained that what makes the Instagram images interesting is the way of aestheticizing the military and thereby normalizing warfare and the occupation of the Palestinian territories.

“It becomes clear the extent to which the occupation as a reigning paradigm in Israel is now so banal that it can be rendered in an aestheticized form and circulated like a souvenir,” said Stein.

Yehuda Shaul is a former Israeli soldier and cofounder of Breaking the Silence, an Israeli organization that gathers testimonies of veteran combatants to reveal the reality of everyday life as soldiers in the occupied territories. He was not surprised to see the Instagram photo, which he said was almost identical to an image from the second intifada.

“It’s just a fact that in 2013 there is Instagram. It’s not like the disrespect for Palestinian life wasn’t there before Facebook, for instance. It just gives another window into the mindset of what it means being a soldier and how you see Palestinians when you serve in the Palestinian territories — and the answer to that is, not as equal human beings to you,” said Shaul in a phone interview with Al-Monitor. ”[As a soldier] you stand at your post for eight hours, bored to death, and you look for ways to pass some time. Taking pictures through your scope is just something you do.”

Israel authorities aestheticize military culture

The Israeli army guaranteed that the recent case attracting so much attention would be “examined and properly handled,” referring to investigations into whether any criminal acts had taken place. Shaul finds this reaction nonsensical.

“The army is trying to dampen the PR damage while not giving any concern to the real problem this photo is portraying,” said Yehuda. ”It’s not about whether we commit crimes according to the criminal law, but about whether we commit crimes to the moral laws we want to stand up to.”

Stein has been researching new media technologies in connection with the Israeli occupation since Operation Cast Lead in 2008–2009. According to her, the army as well as the state and its different branches of government have since that time been fully aware of the importance of new media and have tried to catch up with the highly digital young soldiers both on and off the battlefield.

Stein also points to the fact that social media tools are not only used by soldiers, but also by Israeli authorities, who have incorporated these tools into their “toolbox of military occupation and war.” While Facebook, Twitter and YouTube have been a part of the army’s PR strategy for years, Instagram was added to the list prior to the Pillar of Defense campaign against Gaza in November 2012.

“The operation mission in 2012 made it abundantly clear to anyone who had any doubts about the central role of new media, both in the hands of Israelis and Palestinians on the ground, but also in the hands of the state. Instagram was being used as a platform to celebrate military culture and the targeting of Palestinians,” said Stein.

While it seems that the Israel Defense Forces has taken down its Instagram platform, posting only a select few images on its blog, more can be viewed in a November feature in the New Inquiry, an independent online magazine.

Racism is nothing new

The message of racism and targeting of Palestinians expressed in Israeli soldiers’ Instagram images is apparently not confined to social media. In recent weeks, Israeli media have featured cases of young Israeli Jews who attacked Arab Israelis. During the Jewish holiday of Purim, 40-year-old Hassan Ausruf was severely beaten in Tel Aviv by a group of Israeli youths who, according to Ausruf, shouted racist incitements. On Feb. 26 in Jerusalem, an eyewitness took pictures of an alleged hate crime in which a Jewish woman attacked a Muslim woman, tearing off her head scarf, at a light rail stop.

Hebrew University professor Moshe Zimmerman, a historian specializing in anti-Semitism in Europe and the role of the Holocaust in Israel and postwar Germany, warned some 20 years ago about the growing issue of racism among Israeli youth.

“What is happening now is just a demonstration of what has already been going on for a long time. There is a feeling that Jews are superior to others, and there is a lot of hate to[ward] ‘the other.’ All the racism that we know from European and American history is also found in the Israeli society,” said Zimmerman in a phone interview with Al-Monitor.

Zimmerman attributes the culture of racism to a process of socialization in formal and informal education, which is also reflected among young Israeli soldiers. “The military is the outcome. You educate the Israeli youth to believe in a racist ideology, and the first place where they can practice this is in the army when being confronted by Palestinians in the Palestinian territories,” said Zimmerman.

According to Zimmerman, there is little being done to tackle the issue of racism. He would like to see a bigger effort, especially in the education system, to confront this racist trend.

ISLAMIC HISTORY BEING DESTROYED BY ISRAEL

Occupation Bulldozers Demolish Ancient Islamic Facades in Jerusalem

The Al-Aqsa Foundation for Endowments and Heritage said that the Occupation bulldozers continue, for the second day, their demolition of the facades and arches of a historic building on the North side of Buraq Square, about 50 meters from al-Aqsa Mosque by the Western Wall. The Foundation reported that most of the demolition is now complete.

The Foundation added in a statement that the Occupation is planning to build a new complex known as “Strauss” for numerous purposes, including a synagogue, reception hall, observation post, police station, museum, dozens of new bathroom units, and a new entrance to the Western Wall.

The statement continued by saying that these ancient buildings are known as Islamic Endowments of the Morroccan Quarter of Jerusalem, and have been an integral part of that neighborhood.

Sheikh Ikrima Sabri, head of the Supreme Islamic Council in Jerusalem, stressed in an interview with PNN that “this work is a Judaicization of the city” and an attempt “to clear out everything that has to do with Islamic monuments.”*

110 IOF Officers, Settlers Storm Al-Aqsa Mosque, Situation on Alert

Al-Aqsa Association for Waqf and Heritage said in a press statement Thursday morning that around 110 officers from the Israeli forces stormed Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem from Bab al-Magharbeh Gate.

Dozens of settlers also raided the mosque, protected by Israeli forces, and made a provocative tour of the area, while hundreds of Palestinian worshipers inside the mosque were alerted.

The Al-Aqsa Association also said that Israeli occupation forces have recently escalated their attacks on the mosque and call on Islamic nations to stand by Palestinians, and protect the al-Aqsa mosque from continuous Israeli attacks and attempts to control it.

Archeologically and historically, we know that the ruins of the Temple of Solomon lie beneath Masjid Al-Aqsa. We don’t know how deep the excavations go, but its happening with every passing day. The situation needs no more silence!

Whenever I tried to alert Muslims to this, many looked at me like I was crazy, like I didn’t know what I was talking about…but I think you should know that I am a Muslim too. I have studied comparative religion, and have been heavily involved in critically researching various aspects of “new religions” for approximately 10 years to date.

Most of my, and my colleagues, findings are shocking to say the least. At first, even we found them hard to swallow. And then slowly, with each new day Allah (SWT) provided more and more wisdom to help us make sense of what we were uncovering. We have looked at banned footage, articles, interviews and various other research materials.

What I’m about to share now, may seem like hogwash to many people, but all I ask is that you open your heart and mind to this information and before you say I’m crazy, I challenge you to go out and research for yourself.

So yes, we know that Masjid Al-Aqsa has been under siege for many years. Palestinian people have not known peace since the State of Israel was formed in 1947.

We believed it was because they’re Muslim, and because Israel wants their land, particularly the land on which Al-Aqsa is built. True. BUT DO WE KNOW WHY?
In order to find this out, we had to go way back in history and literally put the confusing pieces of the puzzle together.

To cram months of research into an e-mail, is a hard task. But I hope to share pertinent stuff in a few short paragraphs. And hopefully, I shall provide food for thought as to the reasons behind the “WHY”.

We have uncovered much information to substantiate the following claims. We have gone back in history and our findings are pretty much black and white.

We have used primarily, the Qur’an, Bible, Hadith, and happenings in todays world as our points of reference.

So below, please find the following on Why the Israelis want to destroy Masjid Al-Aqsa:

1. Predominant belief at the time and proof from the Qur’an

WHY DO THE ISREALIS WANT TO DESTROY MASJID AL-AQSA??

THESE FEW POINTS WILL SUMMARISE KEY POINTS TO HELP YOU UNDERSTAND WHATS REALLY GOING ON. AND TO DO THIS, WE HAVE TO GO BACK TO THE ORIGINS OF ANCIENT BELIEF SYSTEMS IN THAT REGION. EVERYTHING STARTED FROM HERE, AND THAT’S WHY ITS IMPERATIVE IN ORDER TO UNDERSTAND THE BIGGER PICTURE.

PREDOMINANT BELIEF AT THE TIME + PROOF FROM THE QUR’AN

· There are Jews that believe in one god – praying properly etc.

· Then there are Jews that are “ashkenazi” and those that believe in the origins of the Jewish religion. Prior to Judaism, the people of that land were Zionist. They believed in Zionism, which has its roots in a practice called “Kabala” (this is an ancient form of Jewish magic and is based on the principles of the occult and paganism ie: believing in gods and goddesses as well as satan). This practice was learnt from the ancient Egyptians prior and during the time of Moses (Musa AS). Further research proves that what they actually worshipped was Jinn.

· Jinn come in 3 forms, as the Qur’an tells us – in form of dogs or snakes, birds or flying, and that which shape shifts (can assume the shape of a man etc) – look at the ancient gods or pictures of them and you will see what I mean… the Egyptian “gods” were in those forms…head of a dog, bird etc etc etc…. same with the Annunaki ‘gods’ in Persia, and the gods worshipped by the Mayans, Aztecs, Incas and other ancient civilisations. In all ancient paintings, drawings etc, these Gods were all blue in colour. The Qur’an tells us that Jinn is created from the smokeless flame of fire – meaning the essence of a flame. So go ahead and light a flame, and you’ll see that the heart of that flame is BLUE. Jinn also live for thousands of years and travel very fast (which explains why all the ancient civilizations had similar looking “gods” at least one of whom was blue).

· The Qur’an warned us to never take Jews as our friends. Allah warned us that they would work to destroy Islam. And this is something we see happening.

.

· Muslims and Christians are awaiting the second coming of Jesus The Messiah. We also know that the Dajjal (the Anti-Christ / False Messiah) will appear before Jesus does. Jews also believe in a “second coming.” They are preparing for it. However, the interesting thing is that the Jewish faith does not recognise Jesus. Jews do not acknowledge Jesus at all. You fit the puzzle! If they do not acknowledge Jesus and don’t believe he’s returning, yet are awaiting a second coming…then who are they waiting for??

THE DAILY DIGGING UNDER MASJID AL-AQSA

There is no reasonable explanation, as it was noted only after the picture was taken.

So whats this got to do with Masjid Al-Aqsa then?

THE PROPHET SULAYMAN A.S. (SOLOMON) & THE SECRET HE BURIED

· Going back in history… Sulayman (AS) or (King Solomon), was responsible for building what is commonly known as the TEMPLE OF SOLOMON.

· Sulaymans (AS) rule was different from other prophets in that Allah (SWT) allowed him to rule over the race of man, and the race of Jinn.

· Sulayman was tasked with spreading Allahs word ie: the belief and worship in ONE god.

· It came to Sulayman’s attention that groups of people in the land were still practicing magic and the occult. AN EVIL ADMINISTRATION FOR A HOLY ENDEAVOUR…THE INDUSTRY OF HAJJ

 The Hajj of his majesty the king of Saudia is flourishing . The Hajj has been a flourishing business for the Saudis like oil, even better than oil for it is rewarding politically and morally . Another activity endorsed by the Saudis- in these times – is to equip, arm and send terrorists to Syria to kill Syrians (and sacrifice Syrian children and families for their sectarian and egoistic purposes) . This is another extra curricular activity after the two Gulf wars and the occupation of Iraq . And while the Saudis prepare to accommodate 2 million pilgrims coming from the four parts of the world, while pilgrims will stand on mount’ Arafa to pray and invoke their Prophet, the armed Salafis- paid by the Saudis- will be killing more innocent children men and women in massacres that are not close to end .

This makes one wonders why the pilgrim to the Saudia has not vanished like the pilgrim to the Holy Palestinian Lands. Of course , we do not see Muslims flocking to the al Aqsa or to the al Sakhra to visit the Mi’raj of their Rasul where the Holy Prophet has ascended to the sky ,they do not go to al Kuds because it is considered to be under occupation , under Zionist occupation and usurped by Zionist Jews. They have been lately invited to do so for normalization purposes but this has not been done except by the king of Jordan .

Why Mekka is not considered to be under occupation and usurped I don’t know even if those who occupy it dress like Arabs and celebrate al Adha and perform Hajj, and what is the difference between a Zionist Jew and a Muslim Zionist I don’t exactly know . The practices of the Saudi royal family cannot –under any circumstance – be labeled as Muslim they are closer to the practices of the Israelis . Let’s look at the Saudi latest record : from the blasts that are tearing away the Iraqi cities taking the lives of thousands of Iraqis, to the war waged against Lebanon in 2006, not forgetting the destabilization of Yemen and –finally- the Saudi masterpiece of the bloody involvement in Syria where the Zionist schemes are carried literally to their end .

The destruction of a whole country causing the death of 30000 Syrian soldiers and tens of thousands of civilians and the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Syrians , among them minorities- Christians and others – who have witnessed the destruction and occupation of their churches and quarters . A real masterpiece for which the Saudis should be rewarded by the flocking of two million Muslims from all countries- except from Syria- whose citizens have not been allowed- by the Saudi authorities -to perform pilgrimage this year …

By this the Saudis pose as defending Sunni Islam against the threat of other sects while hosting dozens of US military bases, working hand in hand with NATO to target the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon and its allies : Iran and Syria. One could ask: since when Hillary Clinton and the Queen of England have turned Muslim? And since when have they joined the Sunni sect we don’t know either… And where does Sunni Islam require the slaughter of Syrian children we don’t know but –definitely- the expansion of Israel and the hegemony of NATO over the region requires so and more than so and the Saudi are willing to play the game till the end .

What Islam is this and what pilgrimage? Are the CIA and the Mossad absent from organizing such a big gathering ? Has anyone asked himself if the CIA or Mossad agents remain idling through Hajj? Under whose protection and surveillance is this pilgrim performed? Can one question the status of Mekka? Whether Mekka is occupied or not? Whether it enjoys the status of an independent Holy Place ? In all cases Hajj under the auspiciousness of the Saudi royal family should not be encouraged in any way , nor performed, it is adding to the credits of the Saudis and offering Syrian children at the alter of al Saud instead of the unhappy goats destined to God!
